How it works

From your first phone call to your full licence

Most driving schools teach you to drive and leave the paperwork, the waiting periods and the MPI dates entirely to you. That is where people lose months. We do it differently.

01

Tell us where you are

A short form or a phone call. What matters is whether you have a Class 5L yet, how much you have driven, and what you are nervous about.

You get a written reply with a plan and a quote — no packages you have to buy up front.

02

Your first lesson is an assessment

Ninety minutes in a quiet area. Kulwinder finds out what you can already do, and you find out what learning with her is like.

By the end you have an honest estimate of how many lessons you actually need. For some people that is four.

03

Lessons, logged as you go

After every lesson your skills are scored against the full road-test syllabus — twenty-eight items across observation, control, manoeuvres, and Manitoba conditions.

You see the same sheet the instructor does. No vague “you’re getting there”.

04

The dates look after themselves

Your Class 5L date goes in once. From it the system works out your road-test eligibility (9 months), your full-stage date (15 months), and any waiting period after a failed test.

You are emailed a month and a week before each date arrives, so an MPI appointment is never missed because nobody was counting.

05

A dress rehearsal, then the real thing

A full mock road test on the actual routes, scored the way an examiner scores it, with a debrief on exactly what would have cost marks.

If you want the dual-control car for test day itself, that is arranged too.

06

Records you keep

Every lesson, note, assessment, receipt and milestone stays in your portal — through the intermediate stage and up to your full Class 5F.

If you ever need to show what training you have had, it is all in one place.

What runs on its own

Eight things you never have to remember

Each of these fires from your own record. Nobody has to notice, and nobody has to tick a box for it to happen.

Lesson confirmed

Confirmation immediately, reminder 24 hours before.

Class 5L recorded

Road-test eligibility date calculated and put on your timeline.

One month to go

A nudge to book your MPI appointment before slots fill.

Road test tomorrow

A final checklist of what to bring and what examiners mark.

Road test failed

The 14-day rebooking date, worked out for you.

Assessment hits 80%

You are told you are ready — with the breakdown behind it.

Road test passed

Your Class 5F date is set and tracked from that day.

Six weeks without a lesson

A gentle check-in, because skills fade fast.

Paying for lessons

Simple, and no card details on a website

Lessons are paid by e-transfer to gssdrivingwpg@gmail.com, or in person at the start of the lesson. Whatever you pay is recorded against your account the same day and shows in your portal.

Quotes are given per student. If you only need four lessons, you will be told that rather than sold twelve.
